Cinnamon porridge with goji berries & apple recipe is perfect if you fancy adding extra flavour to your porridge. I can’t think of a better breakfast in the winter or if you want to stay fuller for longer. I added goji berries for extra flavour and natural sweetness.

Goji berries contain vitamin C, vitaminB2, vitamin A, Iron and other antioxidants. Regular eating of goji berries will bust your immune system and brain activity. It will also prevent from cancer, protect against heart disease and improve life expectancy.

Porridge is a natural source of fibre and helps reduce cholesterol. In the healthy and balanced diet this is probably one of the best choices for your breakfast and by adding different flavours every time you will never get bored of this meal.

Ingredients

40g organic Scottish rolled oats

230ml soya milk

1tbsp goji berries

1/2 fresh apple (peeled)

1tsp cinnamon

Method

To a small saucepan add the oats, greated apple, goji berries & cinnamon and pour in the milk. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring from time to time.

Serve cinnamon porridge in a small bowl with a cup of organic green tea.
