Chia seeds marmalade made with fresh orange and goji berries is so easy and quick to prepare you will never want to buy any ordinary one again. Once you taste this recipe you will start thinking of other variations and fruits you can use to make different flavours. In fact this recipe can be used as a healthy alternative to your ordinary marmalade but also as a healthy and guilt free desert. There is no artificial sugar added and the only sweetness comes from the natural ingredients.

Chia seeds marmalade can be used as topping for granola with yogurt, porridge or on freshly baked wholegrain or gluten free bread with Greek yoghurt or cottage cheese.

1 large Spanish orange

2tbsp chia seeds

2tbsp goji berries


Peel orange and cut into chunks, add chia seeds and goji berries to the food processor. Blend all ingredients until smooth consistency. The consistency will become a bit thicker after a few hours.

Keep the marmalade in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.
